Ensuring OneDrive is Synched
When moving to a new PC or Laptop, or if you notice discrepancies in your files on your desktop/documents between your laptop and PC, please check OneDrive is synched using the steps below and follow the guidance on getting the synch up and running.
You should see a white or blue OneDrive cloud icon in the notification area, at the far right of the taskbar. Note: You might need to click the Show hidden icons arrow next to the notification area to see the OneDrive icon.

Hovering over the cloud will tell you whether OneDrive is up to date

If the icon doesn't appear in the notification area, OneDrive might not be running. Select Start, type OneDrive in the search box, and then select OneDrive in the search results. If you are prompted to sign in then do so using your Grimshaw email address and password.

Once done, please make sure that the OneDrive cloud icon is solid blue and does not have any red crosses as this will indicate there is a sync error.

To resolve sync errors click the OneDrive icon to see how many issues you have. Click the sync issues notification to learn more about these issues and how to resolve them.

Finally, check again that OneDrive is up to date

If you have any other errors or are unable to resolve them then please reach out to the IT team via the helpdesk support portal https://help.grimshaw.global
